A comedy based a book with the lengthy title like House of Lies: How Managements Consultants Will Steal Your Watch And Then Tell The Time exemplifies how well some management consultants can "pull the wool" over the eyes of businesses who hire them. Created by Matthew Carnahan (writer producer of Dirt, The Fugitive) House of Lies is a biting satire with devilishly good characters that are fun to watch each week if only to see who they will "screw" next! With a stellar cast including Don Cheadle (Ocean's Eleven, Traffic) as Marty Kaan a cutthroat and highly successful consultant that goes to any lengths to help his clients, Dawn Olivieri (Takedown, Drop Dead Gorgeous) as Marty's pill popping nutty ex-wife Monica, Ben Schwartz (Everybody's Fine, The Other Guys) is Clyde Oberholt a member of Marty's team of consultants. Also starring are Kristen Bell as Jeannie Van Der Hooven, another consultant and Richard Shiff as Marty's boss. Plenty of crazy antics as the "team" go about getting information for their clients by any means possible.

"Outsourced" TV Show tries hard to entertain while never offending. Employees in a call center situated in Mumbai, India must learn about American culture at least to familiarize themselves with the odd and sometimes embarrassing items they offer for sale through a U.S. business catalog. Mid America Novelties is one of those catalog mail order call centers that provide "flatulence" cushions, exploding cigarettes, bizarre party favors, and many other eccentric items for those who have a broad sense of humor. A shaky economy has forced the business to head to India where the outsourced jobs are most welcome. However Todd Dempsey (Ben Rappaport) has a lot to learn about Indian culture in order to lead his team of employees to success in sales. He attempts to teach them about American culture while he learns all he can about India and its cultural differences. Todd has an assistant manager who wants to move up the ladder and eager to learn employees who have difficulty understanding why American humor is so vastly different from their own. The NBC program is a hilarious sitcom that also shows that we aren't that much different no matter where we live.

When his long-time girlfriend dumps him, walking roughshod all over his delicate ego, Jonathan becomes a Craig's List private detective. The New York Times explains, "One of the charms of "Bored to Death" is that the hero, a pothead and screw-up, secretly moonlights as a man of action" at least as much action as missing skateboards and cheating boyfriends can trigger. Ted Danson co-stars as George, a profligate publisher and socialite, who encourages Jonathan's new endeavor. Not surprisingly, Danson shows a marked tendency to steal all the scenes in which he appears. Mid-life man's marginalization probably is the well-spring of Larry David's most exquisite ironies.
