Jason Statham now impersonates Parker, a professional thief with Robin Hood habits. His credo: not to steal from poor people and not to hurt innocent ones. And as it often happens in real life, goodness is punishable, especially when you are a thief (even if the best one). Parker's abettors start playing unclean game against him, finally stealing his heist and leaving Parker for dead. But something was wrong with these guys. May be they did know nothing about Jason Statham and his obsession for sophisticated revenge? It was miserable fault on their part. Parker has resurrected as rich Texan accompanied by his "canceled" victim, Leslie, both eager to spread fear, destruction and devastation around. It is a time to rue for Parker's ex friends. If an astonishing play of Jason Statham isn't enough reason to watch the movie, here is a surprise to change your mind: gorgeous Jennifer Lopez plays Leslie, and this couple Statham plus Lopez may be the only thing making the film worth to watch despite the Transporter-like plot.

Congratulations to all of those who liked Public Enemy with Johnny Depp, now they have more hard-boiled action thriller, Gangster Squad, unfortunately without Johnny. However the absence of Depp is easily compensated by a magnificent assembly of the cast, flawlessly selected by Ruben Fleischer who previously directed Zombieland and working on Zombieland 2 at the day of The Gangster Squad release. Returning to the abovementioned cast, the set of starring actors is really staggering: Ryan Gosling is portraying the main protagonist Sgt. Jerry Wooters who is serving in small (but very secret) LAPD squad chasing the major villain, Mickey Cohen, a mob ringleader. Cohen rules everything to the west from Chicago: prostitution, drug dealing, contract murders and bribes to politicians and officials. He controls everything and everyone. Sean Penn has professionally played the role of this uber-gangtser. Not worse managed with their roles gorgeous Emma Stone (as Grace Faraday) and Josh Brolin (as John O'Mara). The rest array of celebs involved in the film includes: Giovanni Ribisi (Ted, Contraband), Mireille Enos (The Killing, World War Z), Michael PeГ±a (Chavez, End of Watch), Nick Nolte (Luck, Warrior), Anthony Mackie (Vipaka, Real Steel) and Robert Patrick (Mafia, Safe House).

If the environmental issues are close to your heart, then A Dark Truth is the right movie for you. There is no big budget, nor large studio behind the film, but if you think that A Dark Truth is all about tedious scenes of dying rare animals you are seriously wrong. The movie is full of action, awesome actor and actress and it's filmed Damian Lee, the man behind such of masterpieces as Sacrifice, King of Sorrow, One Eyed King and Agent Red. Another psychedelic masterpiece from Danny Boyle, Trance (2013) is good enough to stand in one row with his other mind blowing movies: The Beach, Trainspotting and Shallow Grave. There are no doubts in brilliant actors play when it comes to James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson and Vincent Cassel. The story of Danny Boyle's Trance begins when young professional art auctioneer Frank (Vincent Cassel) comes to his hypnotherapist to remember where he hid a precious painting. Session by session the truth reveals: the painting was stolen by Frank himself and hidden in unknown place. Furthermore, Frank has been mixed up with group of criminals, the international work of art thieves. That's why Frank has to remember where he lost a painting as soon as possible – his life is at stake.

Whenever you can gather Oscar winner Oliver Stone (director & co-writer) along with John Travolta, Uma Therman, Salma Hayek, and Benicio del Toro plus additional high quality talent together and put them all to work in an action film it just can't get any better than that!avages is definitely a crime thriller with plenty of action and intrigue. Throw in a Hippie named Ophelia, or "O" for short played by Blake Lively (Green Lantern, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) and her marijuana growing Laguna Beach boyfriends Chon, a former Navy SEAL played by Taylor Kitsch (John Carter, The Bang Bang Club) and Ben, a Berkeley grad (Aaron Johnson from Albert Nobbs, Shanghai Nights). When "O" is kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel you can see how things could get complicated! John Travolta is a DEA agent hot on the trail of the cartel members when he too gets caught up in the intrigue. Uma Thurman is the mother of Ophelia or "O", desperate to find her daughter. Ransom requires the grass growers to give up all profits they've made the past five year but revenge is a sweeter deal.

Tragedy, much like misery, loves company. In Clint Eastwood's Hereafter movie, three intertwining stories of persons who have had close encounters with death and the dead are told in dramatic episodes. Matt Damon is George Lonegan, an American worker who can talk with the dead; while Cecile de France is Marie, a French TV journalist and one of the few tsunami survivors and there are brothers, Marcus and Jason (played by Frankie and George McLaren) who died from a car accident. At one dramatic point, these tragic stories converge.
