The TV show Greek (originally GRΣΣK) is all about belonging to a fraternity and yet it's even more a family program that caters to family relationships and closeness. College settings are fun and often depict the wildness that does occur while attending a college or university. Most everyone is full of youthful energy and are ready to test the boundaries of their young lives. The cast includes frat members, alumni, and a house mother Casey Cartwright (played by Spencer Grammer) who attempts to keep the house in order and not on the Dean's list. Other cast members include Clark Duke as Dale Kettlewell, Scott Michael Foster as the Captain John Paul "Cappie" Jones, and Paul James as Calvin Owens. Frat houses as we learn are somewhat specialized by their curriculum and several were depicted on the program including Zeta Beta Zeta which is a sorority that caters to those interested in athletics, philanthropy, and academics. Omega Chi Delta offers students that are specializing in networking, academics, and athletics a place to call home while they attend that facility of "higher learning".

"Rap Sh!t" is a new American comedy television series created by Issa Rae, known for her work on "Insecure". The show is set to premiere on the streaming service HBO Max in 2022, and will consist of eight episodes. The series follows a female rap group from Miami as they try to become stars in the music industry.

Scheduled as a mid-season replacement for "The Defenders" on CBS, "Chaos" is scheduled to premier on April 1, 2011"”just in time for spring sweepstakes. The producers describe "Chaos" with the oxymoron "comedic drama," which can translate to brilliant satire and much wry laughter, or which can degenerate into serious genre-confusion and disaster. A veteran small-screen cast and an eight o'clock time-slot give hope to producers and CBS programming execs. In "Chaos," a group of CIA renegades combat serious threats to national security under the auspices of "Clandestine Administration and Oversight Services," a hint the writers coined the acronym before filling-in the words. The group includes a young, ingenuous-looking super-sleuth, a psychologist turned spy with a gift for tactics and motivation from severe paranoia. "CAOS" also includes a disgruntled former employee of the British Secret Service, and a seasoned CIA veteran with the capacity to morph into a human weapon. The collection sounds like a sure-fire formula for chaos, and the "Chaos" ensemble has potential to wring big laughs from total incompetence, but they remain vulnerable to looking like the farm team for TNT's "Leverage."

"A Black Lady Sketch Show" is a television series that debuted on HBO in August 2019. The show is an all-black women's sketch comedy show that features a variety of hilarious and satirical sketches that aim to challenge societal norms and stereotypes. Each episode is comprised of several sketches that range from absurd and silly to biting and thought-provoking.

"History of the World, Part II" is a 1981 American film that parodies historical events from the Old Testament through to the French Revolution. The movie is a sequel to the 1981 film "History of the World, Part I" but the second part was never made.

The CBS lineup on Monday nights is HOT! Putting on a new television sit-com can be an "iffy" prospect and many have failed due to the competition involved. But 2 Broke Girls seems to have all the right stuff! It has talent and chemistry and it has timing. Timing involves where it premieres which is right after Two and a Half Men (now starring Aston Kutcher instead of the controversial Charlie Sheen), then moving into its regular slot an hour earlier following How I Met Your Mother. The chemistry involves a stellar cast and great writing, making 2 Broke Girls a refreshing alternative to comedy on our TVs. The talent comes in the form of some new refreshing faces like Kat Dennings (The Forty Year Old Virgin, Charlie Bartlett) as Max Black, the gal from a working class, perpetually poor family. She knows her way around however, and hopes to fulfill her dreams. Beth Behrs (Serial Buddies, Size Zero Heroes) is the wealthy Caroline who learns her family is broke due to her father being caught using a Ponzi scheme and faces the prospect of going away to prison. She is "book smart" while Max is the one who has "street smarts". Together they might succeed. Life as a waitress is stressful and they must deal with the cook who likes to sexually harass them and a boss who more resembles a Kung Fu competitor than a Brooklyn diner owner. From the folks who brought us Sex in the City how can it go wrong?
