Drake & Josh is a television sitcom that aired on the Nickelodeon network from 2004 to 2007. The show follows two stepbrothers, Drake Parker (played by Drake Bell) and Josh Nichols (played by Josh Peck), who come from very different backgrounds. The concept is: four designers find they are in competition to create their own designer collection and have only one day in which to accomplish it. Hosted by Alexa Chung and with Derek Blasberg, Cynthia Rowley, and James LaForce as judges, the show gets interesting due to the competitive nature of these contestants. Who would think there would be so much serious struggling to rise to the top in designer fashion? One episode shows fashion taking a turn at maternity attire with contestants using a "trunk load" of diapers to create something stylish and with a maternity appearance. When the competition narrows down to just two they proceed to the 24 hour challenge in which they must create fashions for the whole family by use of a stuffed teddy bear. Both designers need to create the correct look in their collection for a newborn baby, then a toddler, next a teenager, and finally a mother. It gets complicated when each has their own designer's idea of what is fashionable for each age group.

"Minute to Win It" gives you everything you loved at your eighth birthday party, now with cash prizes instead of cake and ice cream. Recently renewed for another season, NBC's flagship no-brainer game show returns with all the audience's favorite games and a few new wrinkles. As always, contestants will enjoy opportunities to dazzle with their skill at balancing dice on popsicle sticks, flipping pencils from the backs of their hands, collecting balanced balls while blindfolded, and clocking circular steps on a pedometer. In the American version, "["Minute to Win It'] features everyday Americans competing in 60-second challenges with household objects for a shot at a million bucks. But as the money increases, so does the level of difficulty." These strikingly attractive, fit "everyday Americans," of course, have been practicing these tricky maneuvers on their gaming systems and rec room floors, so that they generally will risk all their big earnings to stay in the game; social historians call that risk-taking "rugged American determination." With a million American dollars at stake, the reward apparently is worth the risk. "Minute to Win It" airs in seventeen other countries, comes in a board-game format, and has been adapted for PlayStation and Wii.

When Chloe King turns sixteen she discovers she is descended from an ancient race, the Mai. She soon learns of her new found cat like powers which include super human speed, night vision, super hearing, agility, retractable claws, and that she now has nine lives just like a cat. Upon discovering that someone is following her, Chloe also learns she is the descendant of an ancient race called the Mai and just might be responsible for protecting her race from the human assassins which have been on the prowl for them during the past thousands of years. Skyler Samuels (Wizards of Waverly Place) is Chloe King, who had quite a sweet sixteen birthday present. Amy Pietz (Caroline in the City) plays her mother, Meredith King. A single mom, Skyler raised Chloe by herself although she is from the Ukraine and was brought to the U.S. by a man who adopted Chloe and may also know about her and the super powers she has gained. Now Chloe has a heavy responsibility if she is to save the world, including both humans and the Mai race.
