"The Visitors" is a TV series that follows a police officer as he tries to solve strange occurrences in his town. While the plot has potential, the execution is inconsistent. The early episodes are slow and boring, but the show picks up near the end with better episodes. The use of foreshadowing and establishment of elements is done well, but attempts at juvenile humor in the early episodes fall flat. The main character has a character arc, but most of the supporting cast are empty stereotypes with little development. The acting is decent.

The premise of the show involves showing how different yet similar we all are and how a vampire and a werewolf can live with a ghost and all get along. Any time a combination like this one comes to the TV you can imagine how scary dark and brooding it may be but there is a lot of humor in this show as well, making it well worth watching. Aidan (Sam Witwer) is a vampire who works as a nurse in a hospital in Boston. He began his career as a prince of darkness during the Revolutionary War back in the 1860's and with a job in a hospital they might want to watch out for the blood supplies. Josh (played by Sam Huntington) happens to be a werewolf working in the same hospital as an orderly as his day job. Sally (Meaghan Rath) became a ghost after her unfortunate death and now haunts the house she had planned to live in when she got married. Now Aidan and Josh rent the house and find it to be haunted by Sally.

"Firefly" TV show lasted only eleven weeks on the Fox network, but it gained enough loyal followers to sell tons of DVDs. Given the strength of after-broadcast sales, writer-director Joss Whedon persuaded Universal Pictures to produce Serenity, a successful motion picture derived and adapted from his so-called "space-western." Exactly as Weaver family does in this weird and sometimes "goofy" television series, The Neighbors centered on their unusual life among the aliens. But don't consider their neighbors some sort of ugly monsters"¦ Oh, yeah, of course they have some green goo ejaculated from ears when they cry, and, of course, they prefer to eat using eyes, not mouth, but they so adorable! So, you have ever intent to pass them to official for some cruel test, please, don't do it! Although, the TV show has gained mostly negative receptions from critics, it worth watching for many reasons. First of all it was created by legendary Dan Fogelman, and all the critics negative reviews are just a result of high expectations for these series. The second reason is the ensemble cast: the star of Entourage, Modern Family, Still Standing and ER - Jami Gertz looks natural in the extraterrestrial surrounding of Ningning Deng, Tracy Weisert and Mobin Khan.

Despite the show's uncertain American future, the production team continued making new episodes for air in the United Kingdom and Canada.
