When you have not gotten enough of your favorite movie star, comedian, or rock star and their shows, you can always find out more than you might care to learn on the television program The Soup. Originally called Talk Soup, this daily half hour hosted by Joel McHale brings us clips from TV shows and movies along with tidbits and gossip regarding all those "beautiful" people we love to watch on the big or small screen or perhaps listen to their music. There is something very intriguing about what goes on behind the scenes of our favorite programs and how the celebrities spend their days that most of us love to follow and learn more about them. Even the infamous likes of O J Simpson and the latest to win her case, Casey Anthony, make for interesting following if only to see what they'll do next. Who marries whom and who gets divorced are among the attractions on The Soup and we get to learn it all while watching this sometimes interesting and often entertaining program.

Call Me Kat is a TV sitcom that aired on Fox in January 2021, and it's based on the British sitcom Miranda. The show stars Mayim Bialik as the titular character, Kat, who is a 39-year-old single woman who decides to use her savings to open a cat cafe in Louisville, Kentucky. Her parents and friends don't understand her decision, but she is determined to make it work.

Comedy series Blue Mountain State has its football team, The Goats as well as plenty of sex, drunken college students, hazing, wild parties, and even drugs to fill a few dorm rooms and frat houses. Now in its third season on Spike this Lionsgate Television series brings plenty of humor to the fictional college that is located somewhere in the mid west U.S. Cast includes: Alex Moran (Darin Brooks from Days of our Lives) as a football quarterback with a superb track record from his high school days, who want to enjoy all that college life has to offer while also becoming a star on the gridiron. Sammy Cacciatore (Chris Romano from How I Met Your Mother) is the team's mascot and dresses up like a goat for games and resides in a closet at the Goat House. Alan Ritchson from Aquaman plays Thad Castle a linebacker and a senior All-American who got in trouble for calling referees "butt faces". He's not very popular with his teammates because he's a bully. Up and coming freshman Radon Randell (played by Page Kennedy from My Name is Earl, Blind Justice) is a starting quarterback with lots of potential, that is if he can survive the hazing and wild partying of college life at Blue Mountain State. The residents of the Goat House have fun, learn a lot that's not necessarily of future use, and party hard!

Remember Tim "the tool man" Taylor from Home Improvement? Well he's back, sort of. The character Allen plays in Last Man Standing is named Mike Baxter and is practically identical to Tim Taylor in many ways. To make him entirely different would most likely be impossible due to Tim Allen's strong personality and likeability. And while the Taylor character had a wife named Jill (Patricia Richardson) and three sons, Baxter has daughters and a wife (Nancy Travis). Family matters most as it should, especially in the sit-com environment. Mike Baxter also has a "manly" job. He works at an outdoorsy sporting goods store where men buy tents, guns, and fishing gear. Mike used to handle the store's catalog but they seem to be extinct ever since internet sales became so popular. Now his duty is in making promo videos that go up on their web site. Just as with Home Improvement the quality and appeal of Last Man Standing is in the sharp writing and the high quality of the actors involved. Mike Baxter knows far well he's outnumbered with females in his household so turns to his boss (Héctor Elizondo) and friends for some comic relief.

Animal Control was a reality television series that aired on the Animal Planet network from 2005 to 2008. The show followed animal control officers as they responded to calls about stray or dangerous animals in various parts of the United States. The officers were responsible for capturing and removing the animals from the area to ensure public safety.
