Almost entire Roland Emmerich's career was devoted to t sci-fi movies. After moving to Hollywood, he continued to develop this genre: Universal Soldier, Stargate. And now, having reached some success in science fiction and received from producers large enough budget., Emmerich took up shooting the movie, who would later will be written in cinema history as one of the most popular of the genre: The Independence Day. "The movie immediately impress by the scale and epics. If there is the alien invasion, then it should be all over the world immediately. If there are the alien saucers, then they are extremely large. The plot immediately surprises you by the presence of nearly a dozen main characters, who at first seemed to be completely unrelated. It was only towards the end they were organically become the part of the storyline. By the way, the plot is a chronicle of alien invasion, consisting of detailed descriptions of the three days before the main holiday of the United States - July 4.

Since the DVD and Blu-Ray versions of TRON: Legacy have been big time sellers recently it seems like the future is secure for another sequel. TRON 3, 3-D version that continues on with the story line that began back in 1982, keeps the futuristic concept going while including more of the beautiful Olivia Wilde as the character known as Quorra. That persona was way underused according to many critics in the TRON: Legacy film and needed to be emphasized more. Wilde has become known for her "vamp" style roles, making her Quorra so low key she seemed to sleep through much of the movie and that needs to be livened up a bit.eff Bridges character met his demise in the Legacy film but who knows when he may reappear reincarnated or retrofitted. With emphasis placed on the characters in the story, the movie seemed to work best and that means Bridges needs to be there in some form or another. 3-D will add some visual appeal to the movie but even the original 1982 release had plenty to offer those interested in the visual "lightshow" effect presented in good sci-fi filming.

Adolescent boys of all ages may lament Megan Fox's decision not to reprise her performances as Mikaela, but they will appreciate the wisdom of Bay's decision not to replace her or contrive a substitute. A little shell-shocked from the epic failure of his Wall Street sequel, Shia LeBeouf attempts a sequel do-over in Transformers: Dark of the Moon ; and Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, and Ramon Rodriguez return for the final episode of the Transformers' saga. Perhaps most importantly, Peter Cullen once again puts his talents to work as the voice of Optimus Prime.

Kong: Skull Island is a 2017 American monster film directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. The movie is a reboot of the King Kong franchise and stars an ensemble cast, including Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, John C. Reilly, and John Goodman. The film follows a team of scientists and soldiers as they explore a mysterious island in the Pacific, where they encounter the legendary giant ape, Kong.

If nothing else, "Tron: Legacy" is another masterpiece of Disney marketing. Released during the 2010 holiday season, "Tron: Legacy" comes with video game sold separately, and Academy Award winner built-in. Jeff Bridges stars as Kevin Flynn, video-game developer who mysteriously disappeared twenty years ago. The studio's logline reads, "An ambitious hacker transports himself into cyberspace to pull off the ultimate hack." Translation: Garrett Hedlund plays Sam Flynn who jumps into his father's video game universe to rescue him. Identifying with the movie's heroes, avid gamers report, "They created this kind of seamless line between the game and the movie."""Tron: Legacy" is visually stunning. Recent advances in CGI enable the characters, weapons, and landscape to radiate off the screen and envelope the audience. The battles live up to their "epic" billing. Just as importantly, Olivia Wilde brilliantly plays fearless warrior Quorra, who leads dad and kid on their perilous journey across the world dad created. Beau Garrett, a frequent Olivia Wilde screen partner, plays Siren Jem, the perfect foil to Quorra.
