When a commercial airline pilot, Whip (Denzel Washington) saves hundreds of lives it seems like his future looks bright and glorious. He managed to land an airplane with both engines damaged. Although the landing was very hard, Whip has showed a virtuoso level of superior flight skills and have saved 98 out of 106 lives on board. After preventing this catastrophe Whip may feel himself like a hero as well as all the Americans treat him; but following investigation set a long row of inconvenient questions that are making Whip's perspectives looking not so bright. To tell the truth, his future seems like he has to be a prisoner who is serving the very long term in a jail rather than an American hero who is resting on its laurels. Furthermore, everything points on the fact that he knows why. Step by step, dialogue by dialogue, as we watch Flight, we learn more about this unfortunate flight and the night before it.

The Tourist movie is a thriller starring Johnny Depp as Frank Taylor, an American tourist and Angelina Jolie as Elise Ward, an English woman with a colourful past. Frank meets Elise while on vacation in Italy trying to mend his wounded heart and quickly tries to pursue a relationship with her. Only Elise has other motives for her supposed accidental meeting with Frank, but will Frank learn the truth before he gets in too deep or will it be too late. The Tourist movie will give you insight into how people responded when they learn they are being played like pieces on a game board.

"John Q" is a drama movie released in 2002, directed by Nick Cassavetes. The movie follows John Quincy Archibald, a father whose son is in desperate need of a heart transplant. However, John's insurance company denies coverage for the operation, and he is unable to pay for it himself. With no other options, John takes the emergency room hostage and demands that his son be put on the transplant list.

Directed by Gus Van Sant and featuring Matt Damon in the leading role, Promised Land centers on the ace of the oil industry, Steve Butler, a corporate salesman, who is sent to rural American town to secure the drilling rights of his company to tap into the local resources. The town is going thru an uneasy times after the world financial crisis, and, in these times, the establishing the office and production platforms could be in-need for the locals, especially considering the buying drilling rights from local authorities. However, what seemed as easy procedure at the first look, turned to uneasy challenge for Steve. Now he has to rethink all of his beliefs and approaches to life. The movie is a subject of criticism concerning the facts that the major sponsor of its production is Abu Dhabi Media, which is totally owned by United Arab Emirates. It's believed that due to this sponsorship, the film puts shale fracking being described in the movie in a bad light, as it significantly increased the oil-producing capabilities of USA and reduced the oil import from UAE. Nevertheless, Promised Land allows us to enjoy brilliant play of Matt Damon, which is considered to be as "top-level" as it was in The Adjustment Bureau, True Grit and The Informant!

When they combine lies, murder, date rape, mysterious parenthood, and gender confusion in a movie it's generally considered to be a melodrama. The Skin I Live In takes it to another level and turns physical improvements into some horrific experiments gone awry. Dr. Robert Ledgard (Antonio Banderas) is a plastic surgeon who attempts to cultivate a new human skin that is impervious to burns. His wife died 12 years back after severe burns led her to commit suicide. His work thus far has only been on mice but he needs a human "guinea pig" to insure his efforts work. Here is where the horror begins! eems the good doctor has a female captive who he plans on using to test his newly developed skin. His servant, Marilia helps keep the woman under control but when her son, Zeca commits a robbery commits robbery and asks mom to hide him a few days, he discovers the captive woman and rapes her. Upon Dr. Ledgard's return he kills Zeca when he finds him raping his captive. We witness more mayhem including sexual reassignment, rapes, suicides, and murders. Quite a price to pay for fire proof skin!tarring Antonio Banderas (Homeland Security, Zorro) is Dr. Ledgard, Roberto ГЃlamo is Zeca, and Marisa Paredes is Marilia.

Choreography, writing, acting, attitude, and some knowledge of the martial arts can make for an entertaining movie such as we find in the 2011 release of Warrior. Most "sports" related movies are too predictable and technical to make them entertaining enough to please a wide audience but this one covers nearly all the bases to make it a family oriented film. Even the addition of Nick Nolte as the father of a young man training for a mixed martial arts competitive tournament brings plenty of pathos and family values to the film. Nolte is a former boxer and an alcoholic whose two sons, played by Tom Hardy (Tom Conlon) and Joel Edgerton (playing Brendan Conlon) decide to become professional mixed martial arts fighters and ultimately compete against each other. Nolte (as Paddy Conlon) has his hands full with his own demons but tries to be of help for the sake of family ties. Also starring Jennifer Morrison (playing Tess Conlon), William Mapother (David Milligan), and Kurt Angle (as Koba) Warrior is filled with action and great fight sequences.
