When the biography of Abraham Lincoln, Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is found, it was discovered to be based upon secret diaries old Abe kept himself. Soon the rumors began to fly surrounding our 16th President. Henry Surges penned the bio based on some of the writings found in Abe's diaries and the story came to life. Abe learned about vampires from his father, Thomas Lincoln back when he was eleven years old and so believed them to be real. Apparently, according to Thomas Lincoln, Abe's grandfather, also named Abraham, was killed by vampires back in 1786 and that his grandmother died as a result of an infusion of vampire's blood. This was all a result of revenge over unpaid debts incurred by grandpa Thomas. This is a "tongue in cheek" movie at best and does contain some historic incidence but mostly is played as a "what if" and is fun!tarring Benjamin Walker (Flags of our Fathers, Unconscious) as Abe Lincoln in the years before the Civil War. He travels down to New Orleans on the Mississippi River by flatboat with plans to sell goods and encounters a slave auction which affects him deeply. Following a slave buyer Abe discovers the buyer to be a vampire who is buying slaves for food and not for resale. Fiction but nun the less a very fascinating look at history as it might have been!

Moonraker is a spy movie that was released in 1979. The movie is part of the James Bond franchise and follows the iconic secret agent as he investigates the disappearance of a space shuttle. The investigation leads him to a villainous industrialist named Hugo Drax, who plans to destroy humanity and repopulate the Earth with a genetically superior race.

Star Trek is a devilishly vigorous, beautiful and sometimes even enchanting movie. The action runs so fast that it sometimes seems: there was some fiddling with the space-time continuum. The magnificent scenes like a desperate ram by Kelvin of the more powerful opponent, a trio landing near a penetrating the Planet energy borax, the emerges from a warp jump, blazing with all guns Enterprise will stick in the memory for a long time. Add to this the excellent casting, which, coupled with some rethinking of the character hits the bull's-eye thing.

Total Recall of 2012 is the good news for those who read the "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale", the book written by the drug addicted writer Philip K. Dick and liked it. Why? Because it's much more close to the original than the same name movie released in 1990 which remake the new Total Recall is supposed to be. That is way it's more correct to call this Recall the new version, not the remake: we will not see any flights to Mars here. But more action packed scenes are guaranteed, thanks to the Len Wiseman who previously directed the Underworld trilogy and Live Free or Die Hard. The story begins in New Asia, the city in fascist far future where two superstates fights to take control over the Earth: Euroamerica and New Shanghai. The average worker Douglas Quaida (Colin Farrell) awakes in his bed and realizes that he is a spy. But which side he serves? He has no idea. The only link to recall his memory is the young prostitute Melina played by Jessica Biel (New Year's Eve, Playing the Field, The Tall Man). But it seems like she is not just "fille de joie". Very soon it becomes clear that she is a major part of rebel union teamed to change the political system in Euroamerica and aimed to destroy the main antagonist Vilos Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston) the President of the corrupted government of Euroamerica.

Do not misread the connotations in the title X-Men: First Class. "First class" is a phrase which here does not mean "the best, the finest, the most luxurious," nor does it signify "the part of the plane with complimentary cocktails and room to stretch out." Take the phrase literally. In strangely oxymoronic style, the studio's promotional materials claim X-Men: First Class "charts the epic beginning (sic) of the X-Men saga," the first group of students to graduate from Professor X's school for reluctant super-heroes. "Who knew an "epic beginning" was possible? In their salad days, Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr, ultimately sworn mortal enemies, were the best of buds, experimenting with and testing their newly discovered powers, preparing to join other Mutants to prevent Armageddon. X-Men: First Class documents their nasty break-up. They could not be "just friends.""Although the men allegedly star in X-Men: First Class, the so-called "supporting actresses" threaten to steal the show. January Jones of "Madmen" fame plays Emma Frost, villainesse supreme, co-conspirator with Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, criminal mastermind. More notably, Jennifer Lawrence—yes that Jennifer Lawrence, low-keyed "It Girl" from Winter's Bone and the Oscars' red carpet—plays Mystique, aka Raven Darkholme, shape-shifting mutant. By film's end, girl power may trump super-powers.

The Fellowship has broken up, and the hope is almost extinguished. Ringbearer weaker day by day, and the path is still so long and dangerous. Forces are not equal and there are no chances to succeed there is little, but the fight will still take place. The Rohan's great appears before us in the best of its latitude plains and rocky hills. Earth's farmers and breeders are the best riders in the whole Middle-earth. We are closely acquainted with their culture and way of life, as well as very intense showcase their fortitude in the face of the ten thousandth army adamantine Uruk-hai. It is an exemplary standoff of Orcs' physical strength and humans' fortitude. So what is stronger? There are lots of Uruk-hai, but they are only servants of the evil will. Humans have an aim and a worthy leader, which will be ready to die with them and would fight until the very end.
