300: Rise of an Empire is a 2014 American epic action film directed by Noam Murro. The movie is a sequel to the 2006 film 300 and tells the story of the Greek general Themistocles as he leads his army against the invading Persian forces. The film takes place before, during, and after the events of the first movie and explores new characters and locations within the same universe.

Joining him are Javier Bardem (No Country For Old Men, Eat Pray Love) as the movie's villain, and Judith Dench (Shakespeare in Love) who plays "M" for this her seventh Bond film.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is a 2010 movie directed by Edgar Wright, who showcases not only a picture of the heroes in action, but also the sounds with which these actions are carried out, all the "bang" and "boom", and countless "ah-ah-ah!". Needles to say, that he manages to put everything together in the true style of real Englishman. He divides the frame into two, three, four, and so on often as much parts as he wants. He stuffs each episode with jokes and paints it all the colors, playfully borrowed this trick from "Speed Racer" the Wachowski brothers. It seems that Wright has decided to participate in this game seriously. Therefore, the scoring or the level of vital force, occurring on the screen for each victory, looks completely natural, and the "Scott Pilgrim" is perfectly-designed pattern. While this film retains the "Bourne" name it is not to be considered a prequel or even a reboot of the original Bourne movies. Neither Matt Damon or his character Jason Bourne will be part of it this time around and the only connection is Bourne in the title to give it continuity for the franchise. Also in Legacy are Stacy Keach, Edward Norton, and Joan Allen. Plenty of bullets flying along with the blast of explosions and action packed fighting to keep audiences happy.

Superheroes like Spider-Man just don't grow on trees you know! They arrive straight out of the comic books and have some mystical power or other that make them the hero they are.
