Lets face it, no one finds much humor in the subject of cancer. But it is all too common. Most of us know someone affected by it and adding a bit of humor to the stress and strain will help lighten up an otherwise somber situation. Seth Rogan is Kyle, the best friend of Adam (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who has been diagnosed with the big C. Kyle is one of those guys who keeps everybody laughing with his broad sense of humor and that's just what Adam needs about now. Anjelica Huston plays Adam's mother. She is one of those moms that dote on their adult children, especially those with a fatal illness. She tries to help but ends up seeming overbearing. Katie is Adam's doctor (played by Anna Kendrick) and is a doc everyone would love to have, especially when they are dying. The entire cast works well together in this comedy drama that sees a victim appreciating what time he has and his friends who truly care about him. Nothing maudlin here, just a good movie that's well written and acted.

Pieces of April is a 2003 independent film directed by Peter Hedges. The film tells the story of April Burns, a young woman who is estranged from her family, and her attempts to reconnect with them on Thanksgiving Day. April lives in a run-down apartment in New York City with her boyfriend, Bobby, and is determined to make a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for her family, who are traveling from the suburbs to visit her.

This is the story of a man who teaches others how to plan their time and lives. And when he strays from his plan, everything starts to go wrong, as he thought, here it is, and understands that planning of life is useless. Just because life is the most complicated and interesting thing you can ever imagine. Lists, which is the main character writes is somewhat similar to the lists of "Naїve. Super". But if there were simply lists, in the Chaos theory lists defines life. A random selection of the point makes it more interesting. This is a love story. The film makes it clear that planning of love is impossible. And all that happens is not so bad, even if you do not you understand and accept it.

A light heart touching comedy from Andy Fickman, Parental Guidance features Billy Crystal as Artie Decker and Bette Midler as Diane Decker. Mr. and Mrs. Decker are old-school pair faced to look after their three grandkids as their parents went out from town for work for a few weeks. The thing go wrong from the very first minutes of their "babysitting". It seems like old-school methods of parenting are not suitable for 21-th century kids living in their hyper-dynamical rhythms. But there are no choices and both the elderly couple and their grandchildren have to learn a magic of love that like a connecting thread binds all the generations regardless to how they are treat what is wrong and what is right in this world. Meanwhile, it becomes clear for Artie and Diane, that their grandchildren Harper, Turner, Barker are the most lovely and good-behaving persons in their lives, although the first days of 'babysitting' were completely failed due to insane misbehavior of the children. By the way Harper is played by Bailee Madison, who may be familiar to you by her roles in Bridge to Terabithia (as May Belle, a younger sister of Jesse Aarons) and Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (as Sally Hurst).

The couple assassins - it really is capacious and kind of a metaphor for family life that has not been developed so far to the bottom, but Robert Luketic in Killers movie chose another ways to express the idea. First of all, apparently, Cameron's "True Lies", where the governor of California and Jamie Lee Curtis also played a secret superhero and his wife had received his sight. Compared with the current duo, Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl, of course, pointed that Hollywood shallows. But it is generally associated only with a picture of a nuisance. It's funny that Luketic dealt also with the great American paranoia, literally showcases fears that your neighbor can become a high-class hitman overnight start hunt on you. However, this idea is a nice addition to the culminating phrase, from which few dare to argue: "All married do so." In general, just this would be a "Sex and the City", whether it was a film for people, not the nightmare of Manhattan's neurotic.
