In the Mood for Love is a 2000 film directed by Wong Kar-wai, set in Hong Kong in the 1960s. It tells the story of two neighbors, Mr. Chow and Mrs. Chan, who form a close bond when they realize their spouses are having an affair. The film explores their relationship as they navigate their feelings of loneliness and longing, but ultimately choose not to act on their own romantic feelings.

The dramatic storyline of "People Like Us" tells us about unfortunate broke salesman who is suddenly faced the bad news about his father and the necessity to deliver 150 grands to his sister he has never knew. He feels self-confident enough to convince her to let him left the money for himself, but very soon he realizes the futility of his life when he meets lonesome mother struggling for more significant needs than he could even imagine. The film was directed by Alex Kurtzman, who is better known as producer of action-packed movies like Star Trek and Cowboys & Aliens. People Like Us is his debut as director, and it's essential that this movie is a low budgeted one. However, it does not mean that something is wrong with this film. Awesome directional skills of Kurtzman multiplied on perfect assembly of cast and heart-touching screenplay (co-written by Alex too) resulted in must-see masterpiece equally standing among his other works as producer like Transformers Prime, Exit Strategy, Exit Strategy, Hawaii Five-0, Fringe. But, let's go back to the cast: beautiful Michelle Pfeiffer (Dark Shadows, Stardust) as Lillian is accompanied by Elizabeth Banks and charming Olivia Wilde (In Time, Tron: Legacy) as Hanna. The "downshifting" salesman is portrayed by Chris Pine, who is well known for his roles in latest Star Treks and very funny dramcom This Means War.

Based on the Shakespearean play, The Tempest is a period movies set somewhere around the 16th or 17th century in a time where women who practiced witchcraft were punished. However this version of The Tempest has a twist, the sorcerer is now the sorceress. It is a story about a woman named Prospera who was banished by her brother and put on a ship to never return again along with her young daughter. Eventually she ends up on an island with no society and has to become both the mother figure and father figure to her daughter Miranda. The Tempest chronicles her rise to power over this magical island while battling many shipwrecked vigilantes who threaten to harm what she has. This movie offers everything from romance to action to science fiction making it a must see for all movie enthusiasts.

The Return of the Scarlet Pimpernel is a movie that was released in 1937 and is based on the novel of the same name by Baroness Emma Orczy. The movie follows the exploits of Sir Percy Blakeney, who assumes the identity of the Scarlet Pimpernel, a dashing hero who rescues French aristocrats from the guillotine during the Reign of Terror in the aftermath of the French Revolution. In this movie, Sir Percy must rescue his wife, Lady Blakeney, who has been kidnapped by the villainous Citizen Chauvelin.

A Roman hero, Coriolanus absolutely hated the people who revered him. His extreme views and inflexible beliefs incited riots and turned Ancient Rome into a bloody battleground. Even his mother, Volumnia, turned against him as politicians strove to outmaneuver and manipulate him into being more peaceful. One of the most violent periods in Roman history and with plenty of action and violence, this side of Shakespeare presents us with a viewpoint on how dangerous it was to live in Rome back then. Great location shots and plenty of fight scenes make this a fast paced film in which Shakespearian language dominates but is still easy to understand and follow.ctor Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 & 2) doubles as director and star of Coriolanus, is Caius Martius Coriolanus. Gerard Butler (Machine Gun Preacher, The Bounty Hunter) is Tullus Audfidius, Vanessa Redgrave (The Whistleblower, Letters to Juliet) portrays Volumnia, mother of Coriolanus, and Jessica Chastain (The Help, Take Shelter) is Virgilia, wife of Coriolanus. Watch for plenty of bloodshed and violence which was evidently what Ancient Rome was all about.

Enter the Void movie features an awesome special cinematographic experiment. From the start of the film we are looking at the world through the eyes of its protagonist Oscar (Nathaniel Brown). When he blinks, the picture disappears. His thoughts, we hear his voice-overs. The story begins in a small, cramped Tokyo apartment. The balcony shows us a view at the busy street. A bright sign «ENTER» is on the other side of the road. Oscar calls Linda (his sister) and pointing to a flying airplane in the sky, said that he would like to see Tokyo from a height. She replied that she would be scared. He asks her: "What are you afraid?". She says: "Death, I suppose. Falling into the void. " Then the hero picks up a book and we see the Tibetan Book of the Dead closeup. He says he gave it to honor his friend Alex. His sister is skeptical, calling him "upright". Then she says goodbye and leaves. Left alone, Oscar takes a dose of DMT. The next five minutes we are enjoying special effects, revealing the visions of the hero. Of the trip he takes a phone call. His friend Victor calls. He wants Oscar to bring him his stuff and says that awaits him at the Void title bar. Oscar hardly wakes up and there suddenly comes Alex. The meantime, he asked about the Book of the Dead, to which Oscar replied that he reads it and likes. Alex in the conversation makes it clear that he likes the sister of Oscar. They leave the apartment and sent into the Void. On the way Alex tells Oscar his own version of the Tibetan Book of the Dead story. Then he advises Oscar to stop selling drugs and get a job. When they are reached the Void title sign, Alex refuses to enter there and promises to wait for an Oscar in the street. The attempt to sell the drugs to Victor ends with Oscar's death, but we are still looking thru his eyes… and there movie begins.
