CT-N (or Connecticut Network) is the Connecticut government television channel established in 1999 and owned by the Connecticut Public Affairs Network. The CT-N Live webcast is targeted on Connecticut citizens and its main goal is to provide them unbiased and comprehensive information about State government policy and activities. CT-N programming includes mostly informational and current affairs newscasts, but major State's events are covered live by CT-N as well. CT-N mission is clearly expressed by the channel's slogan Your State. Your Government. Your Network.

Port Orange Government TV, or POGTV, broadcasts concerts, games, and parades of Port Orange live. It is the only source for government meetings and disputes to watch live. It is considered that Port Orange Government TV provides the in-time news about various activities and current affairs of actual life of Port Orange Community.

While WUWF, the television station representing the University of West Florida, does get a small amount of funding from state and federal grant money, the bulk of its financing is derived through multi-million dollar funding and with contributions from the local listeners and through funds provided from the University of West Florida. The late Dr. Thomas K Perry help found WUWF in 1981 with the intention of it becoming a way to promote and influence local arts while offering the entertainment value of things such as the Pensacola Jazz Festival, Pensacola Cultural Center, Pensacola Museum of Art, and Great Gulf Coast Arts Festival. Several historic theaters and museums have been renovated through the funds gathered in support of them, making WUWF responsible for bringing in those funds in large amounts. Citylink (or Channel 18) is a government access television channel owned by Pittsfield Community Television (PCTV) and available in the Internet as Citylink TV live. Citylink PCTV is the non-profit organization aimed to inform Pittsfield's citizens about current affairs and local events. Citylink also broadcasts information about Pittsfield government services, coverage of City Council Meetings, subcommittee meetings, and following programming: Army Newswatch, Today's Air Force, City Council Meetings, The Denis Guyer Show, Dalton Selectmen Meeting, Take 15 For Safety. PCTV is funded completely thru local fundraising.

Since the early 70's when Chicago State University built the original TV studio the progress has been steady, exceeding any expectations for a student run studio format. The hands on experience has been a valuable addition to the university as a whole. Ever increasing enrollment proves how popular the concept of the student's experience in the electronic media field can be to the individual student with interests in this venue. Located in Douglas Hall, CSU has added on over the years. Audio as well as digital editing suites, camcorders for student use with projects and remote shoots, complete with digital editing suites have made the entire experience inspiring and attractive to the student curriculum. Now the studios run twenty four hours seven days per week and have become quite professional in their output. Local Area Network or LAN lines have been added on to integrate the media among classrooms and servers capable of storing large amounts of information from all systems mean safe storage of info from all departments. CSU TV is a professional endeavor from any perspective.
