Tell Me Lies is a television series based on a novel of the same name by author Carola Lovering. The story revolves around two college students, Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco, who fall in love despite their differences in background and personalities. However, their relationship takes a dark turn as they both struggle with addiction and mental health issues, leading to a toxic and manipulative dynamic.

Olivia Pope has dedicated her life to keeping public figures scandal free but that's a difficult task when some of them have another agenda. Kerry Washington from The Last King of Scotland and Ray, plays Olivia Pope, a woman on a mission with plenty to work on as she is a crisis management expert with recurring crisis situations going on around her continually. Loosely based on Judy Smith who was President George H.W. Bush's administrative press aide, this TV series attempts to show how chaotic life in the political arena can be. Also starring in Scandal are Henry Ian Cusick (After The Rain, Lost) as Stephen Finch, a womanizer attempting to "turn over a new leaf". Tony Goldwyn (Without A Trace, The Mechanic) plays President Fitzgerald Grant, and Harrison Jones who is played by Columbus Short from Cadillac Records, Stomp the Yard). Created by Shonda Rhimes who is behind Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, Scandal gives an interesting peek into backroom politics.

Take a set of twin sisters who've been at odds for many years. Add in the fact that one of them suddenly disappears. And then show that one of them is full of mystery and intrigue, and on the run from some mysterious mob. Here we have Siobhan and Bridget. Two sisters who have been living apart and out of touch for the past eight years, with one taking a road that winds up leading her onto a path that is unsafe and definitely different from the norm that her twin has followed. When the two sisters take a boat trip Siobhan suddenly disappears overboard. Now Siobhan discovers her twin Bridgit has been leading a double life and hers will never again be the same. Siobhan is attacked by some evil men who evidently are part of the mob when she stays in her sister, Bridgit's house. So did one of the twins really die or simply disappear to avoid the mob? Sarah Michelle Geller (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Scooby-Doo) stars as both twins and she has her hands full when she discovers her twin was leading a life full of mystery and fear. Nestor Carbonell (Smokin' Aces, The Dark Knight) is FBI agent Victor Machado who finds his job of keeping Bridget safe a dangerous one. Action packed with top quality writing and actors.

Just how much reality can we really stand? After being involved in a serious car accident with his wife and son Michael Britten, a police detective, must face the reality of one or the other of his loved ones having been killed in that wreck. He experiences "realities" involving each scenario and as we witness, his mind wraps around the existence of that reality being true. Scary as that may sound the detective does manage to perform his duties as a police detective and solve crimes. His captain (Laura Innes from ER, The Event) and his partner "Bird" Freeman (Steve Harris from Homicide: Life on the Streets, Law & Order) worry about Britten's sanity as he moves between two reality scenarios that are equally terrifying. Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter films, The Patriot) is detective Britten, a man who is Awake through his sorrow and visions. He wears colored rubber bands, each one different for the reality he sees. Red reflects his wife being alive and green for his son remaining alive. We, the viewing audience, can tell by color of those bands how much he pines for his missing loved ones.

Two half brothers (same father) begin their relationship by hating each other but bond and become best friends through teamwork and learning the truth about their father. Lucas Scott is played by Chad Michael Murray (House of Wax, Home of the Brave) who is recruited onto the basketball team by Coach Durham (played by Barry Corbin from Urban Cowboy & Monte Walsh). Lucas proves to be a talented player and starts out as a rival of his own half brother, Nathan Scott (James Lafferty from A Season on the Brink & Get Real). But soon the brothers learn to care for and respect each other while finding out their father Dan Scott (Paul Johansson from The Drew Carey Show & The District) is the natural father of Lucas yet he never claimed to be. As in real life, the characters on One Tree Hill have their ups and downs relationship wise and when they make mistakes they must pay for them somehow. Each season brings up more interesting reflections on family and life in high school, college, and ultimately after they have become adults proving we all need time to reflect on what we want in our lives.
