Maybe the best written and most entertaining teen soap since Dark Shadows is running on the Nickelodeon network. Following the lives of eight teenagers who happen to all reside in Anubis House, a United Kingdom boarding house, the cast includes an American female, Nina Martin who is living there with her grand mother after the death of her parents. Other youthful residents include Patricia (Jade Ramsey), Nina (Nathalia Ramos), Sarah (Rita Davies), and a missing Joy (Klariza Clayton). When Joy comes up missing at about the same time that Nina arrives suspicion is pointed at her. A rather scary caretaker, Victor Rodenmaar (played by Francis Magee), is determined to get rid of any evidence that Joy was ever there. An ancient necklace plays a part as do some wax cylinders found in the attic. Friends Fabian Rutter (Brad Kavanaugh), Alfie Lewis (Alex Sawyer), and Amber Millington (Ana Ten) help Nina investigate the mysteries they find in the old house. They form a group and call it Sibuna which is Anubis spelled in reverse. Plenty of ongoing relationships between the eight teens as they explore their aged residence (named for an Egyptian god Anubis).

"Cruel Summer" is a television series that premiered in April 2021 on the Freeform network in the United States. It is a psychological thriller that follows two teenage girls, Jeanette Turner and Kate Wallis, living in a small Texas town in the 1990s. Jeanette is an unpopular girl who idolizes Kate, a popular girl with a seemingly perfect life. However, Kate goes missing one day, and Jeanette starts to become more popular while Kate's life unravels.

Ghost Whisperer TV Show centers on Melinda Gordon. After her soul mate dies she starts to be able to connect to spirits of those that died from things other than natural causes. All these spirits can't pass over to the other side without some sort of closure, so Melinda feels she must help them. As a paranormal investigator she must convince others she is not crazy and get them to believe what she says along with trying to figure out what it is the spirits need for closure. "Destination Truth" provides more testimony to American's insatiable taste for all things creepy and spooky. More than two million people tune-in every week to watch Josh Gates lead a crew of intrepid investigators in search of a paranormal creature come to life from myth or superstition. Airing on SyFy, "Destination Truth" appeals to an audience already well prepared to suspend disbelief, but the shows producers are masters of suspense and wizards of paranormal para-technology, so that even skeptics find themselves strangely seduced. Episodes of "Destination Truth" begin with Gates and crew members gathering at sites of creepy-thing sightings, rigging-up elaborate surveillance equipment and gathering eyewitness testimony from creepy-thing spotters. As team members complete their overnight stake-out, monsters, chimeras, and gryphons supposedly make cameo appearances via thermal imaging, enhanced audio, or a crew member's agitated testimony, "I felt it. I swear I felt it."

Real people who genuinely hear and fear things going bump in the night know they're gonna call "Ghost Hunters" TV show, everyday equivalents of Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray except that these ghost hunters try to document their work with vaguely scientific instruments. "Ghost Hunters" follows the sometimes daring and frequently just creepy exploits of "The Atlantic Paranormal Society" (TAPS) as they investigate spectre-sightings and reports of disturbing hauntings of all kinds. Outfitted in team jackets and shirts but otherwise looking like ordinary dudes, Jason Hawes, Grant Wilson, and their team-members sit patiently and wait endlessly for their gadgets and widgets to register the presence of ethereal beings. Unlike other haunt-hunting shows that capitalize on cast-members' freak-outs for suspense, "Ghost Hunters" shows the TAPS guys gleefully chasing the ghosts, asking them questions and taunting them. Whether or not the investigators ever throw a net over a ghost, "Ghost Hunters" TV sries does a spectacular job of documenting the social history of some of the world's most infamous places.

When Scott McCall is bitten by a werewolf while he wanders in the woods, he tries to keep it his secret from all but his closest friend Stiles (Dylan O'Brien from High Road). Stiles willingly helps his pal Scott when he must go through changes and become a werewolf at night. Scott is played by Tyler Posey (Brothers & Sister, Lincoln Heights) and must undergo the changes even though he fights it. He is somewhat of a social outcast and having such an enormous secret other life, it is even more difficult to fit in at his northern California Beacon Hills High School. As Scott first notices how powerful he has become and how each of his senses has become heightened, he finds his shape shifting strangely intriguing. He loves the game of lacrosse and now plays like a pro thanks to his newly found gift of power. And romance is coming his way since he now has more self confidence and has found a girlfriend in Allison Argent (Crystal Reed from Skyline).
