Sex and the City 2 is the door from "Being John Malkovich" straight into the female brain. Heroines' trip to the UAE may be seen in the wildest hallucinogenic ravings only, because half the movie has no relation to reality. Everything you can see, just the cinematic incarnation of women's dreams, not repressed neither the budget (compared to the previous film, he rose half as much), or by considerations of propriety… there is no common sense. Before you bare the mechanism: how and what every woman secretly dreams. "Sex and the City 2" took the old cynical tone, and began to dissect the theme, surrounded by silence or enthusiastic piety, while main characters defend personal, non-conventional happiness again.

Aaron Eckhart has established itself as a great orator in, for whom are ready to follow both his followers and opponents (Thank You for Smoking), and even if he plays a loser (Hello, Bill!). His charm and an honest look impossible to doubt, and Eckhart's character is more interesting then Aniston's character, who modestly speaking takes a back seat. There is minimum or none of humorous component in this romantic melodrama, aside the main characters: Layne (Dan Fogler), Agent Burke, Eloise and her colleague Marty (Judy Greer), which is very believable and normally obsessed with sex. Extremely sentimental spectator will whisk away the tears every 8 minutes during the first 40 minutes. Toward the end of the movie the stream of tears, will be o only increasing, but more happiness will occur as well.

Gerard Butler plays George in Playing for Keeps, movie filmed in 2012, about a retired soccer player returning back home. He tries to rebuild his relationships with his son. In his efforts to rebuild the family, George agrees to coach son's soccer team. As the coacher he faces lots of troubles with his wards, but finds out that there are lots of more challenging things in his new live: the gorgeous "soccer's moms" that take a little too much to shine to new athletic bachelor appeared in their neighborhood. This challenge is uneasy one: Stacie, Patti and Denise together put the eye on George. And if you are confident to manage this "challenge", just think twice, because Stacie is Jessica Biel, Patti is Uma Thurman and Denise is Catherine Zeta-Jones. Such a stellar cast was gathered by Playing for Keeps director, Gabriele Muccino, for your pleasure.

A film by Robert Schwentke is not even trying to step into the territory of melodrama: the protagonist played by Rachel McAdams is so in love with that there are no other characteristics can be found in her person. Her partner, Eric Bana plays just a handsome man, imbued with positive as with chloroform, next to whom dreamy lonely woman wished to be. Of course, Bana is not shining, as Patrick Swayze, while parting with Demi Moore, but it crumbles in the arms McAdams, like sand in the sandglass tears. You can forget second part of "Twilight" saga which was entirely built on the antics of Bella without paternal care of the Cullen family. "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" was directed by David Slade, who shot one of the most horrible and nasty vampire films of recent years "30 Days of Night" and memorably nauseating "Candy", captured the essence of what is happening in the minds of young viewers, and especially the spectators. And he did not balk at the battle scenes, shot them, nevertheless, clearly, briefly, with proper amount "meat" details. In his " "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse", the third part of "Saga" written by Stephenie Meyer, he laid everything in equal proportions: animal magnetism emanating from Taylor Lautner *squeals in the audience*, and cool eroticism, which is responsible for Robert Pattinson *squeals in the audience again*. And what is most valuable, he has not forgotten and all sorts of comic situations, the source and the perpetual motion which is Kristen Stewart. Measure observed throughout the balance of power is not broken, just over two hours fly by unnoticed. You may left the fight scenes for "Another World", because in the third "Twilight" we are kissing with vampires and scratching wolves' ears. Long live diversity!

Safe Haven of 2013 is loosely based on the Nicholas Sparks' best-selling novel of 2011 with same name. The movie's storyline winds around private life of Katie Feldman and her past's dark secrets. Movie starts with scenes where we see Katie - she is settling in a small touristic town Southport, located near Cape Fear (North Carolina). Being a gorgeous, lighthearted young woman, she works as a waitress in one of the local restaurants. Everything looks fine and her life is passing in calm and friendly neighborhood, but as soon as film scenes go, we notice that Katie has to cope with some problems originating from her shady past. It comes absolutely clear that something was wrong in her "previous life" when a local store owner Alex Wheatley tries to build relationships with her. Katie withdraws into herself, although it becomes clear that she has similar feeling towards Alex. Why she keep her heart locked for a new love? It's a question that could be answered by some mysterious events living in Katie's past. The situation becomes more unstable when another man, Jo with enters her live with that sort of feelings. Now, Katie is faced some though choice, a widowed ex-army-mayor, Alex, a local dreamboat, Jo, and staying alone one-on-one with her past. Mostly targeted in woman audience, Safe Haven features not only typical Sparks' signature plot, but quite a decent ensemble cast: Katie Feldman is played by cute Julianne Hough (Sherrie Christian from Rock of Ages , Ariel from Footloose, and Georgia Burlesque), while Josh Duhamel portrays Alex Wheatley. We know Josh for his roles of Jeremy Coleman in Fire with Fire and Captain William Lennox in Transformers franchise.
