Matt King (George Clooney) is distraught over the accident that put his wife into a coma. She was water skiing and following a serious accident she remains in a coma allowing much angst and debate over whether or not to allow the plug to be pulled, to let her go because her will stipulates she does not wish to be a vegetable, which she has now become. The King family are descendants of an enormous amount of valuable Hawaiian real estate and so worth many millions and now there must be decisions made regarding what to do with the land. With his relatives urging him to sell and his two daughters needing to be raised now by him alone, Matt then learns about a disturbing secret affair that his wife held from him all these years.eorge Clooney always gives a high quality performance and this time around he is even more dedicated to making it right!
