"Einstein and Eddington" is a historical drama movie released in 2008, directed by Philip Martin. When Jimmy, a 45 year old "roadie" who has been with the Blue Oyster Cult, an 80's hair band is cast off by the band, he returns to his home town and to see his mother. Jimmy has not seen his mother since he was back to attend his father's funeral. Now he hopes to live with his mother in the very house and neighborhood he grew up in. But much has changed while he's been away, especially the neighborhood (Forest Hills, Queens in New York) which is now considered somewhat of a slum. It's difficult and sometimes even impossible to go back home again and Jimmy finds his old stomping grounds have gone to seed while he was away for all those years when old buddies take him on a tour.immy testagross is played by Ron Eldard (House of Sand and Fog, ER), Bobby Cannavale (Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Fast Food Nation) is Bobby, Nikki Stevens is played by Jill Hennessey (Crossing Jordan, Wild Hogs), Jimmy's Mom is played by Lois Smith (True Blood, Desperate Housewives), and Don Miller is portrayed by David Margulies (The Sopranos, Canterbury's Law).

Mother and Child movie features some mystical idea that everything in our life is connected just too poorly compatible with the prosaic realities of our atomized society. Its more easy to explain the desire of screenplay writer to complete its puzzle plot that analyze the behavior of the characters as the normal human motivations. The presence of stars is only partially redeems shoals of unfinished script, but Watts, who got completely unemotional role of women who throw themselves on every man in sight, once again confirms her rare talent to play a strong blonde in distress. It is thanks to her play, the movie which strives to fly into space on the wings of its own pathos, continues to rely on the land… at least with the little finger of one leg.

It doesn't even matter if you've ever read the novel written by the greatest Russian novelist Leo Tolstoy, or, maybe, you doesn't even heard about Anna Karenina (what is unlikely.) The whole plot of the novel has been left intact: the action unfolds in the 19th century Russia, where the social elite have its own rules and traditions, and where adultery is counting as the worst sin ever. In those classy times, the story follows a young woman Anna (Keira Knightley), who is happily married to top-echelon officer Alexei Karenin (Jude Law). She unexpectedly meets the man of her dreams, Count Vronsky (Aaron Johnson) and falls in love with him. Their mutual romantic relationship leads the cinematic adaptation's plot to the predictable dramatic end, where a train plays a crucial and a final role.
