Night at the Museum 2 is an excellent and intelligent family adventure movie. It may disappoint you if you are counting on the comedy, as usual expecting Ben Stiller's hilarious antics and 'adult' jokes.This is the movie you have to watch with children: it would give them joy and knowledge of history, but you will not get bored, watching the excellent shapes of Amy Adams in tights and choreography of the Spartans performed by tiny Oates and Coogan. Life of Pi, directed by Ang Lee and based on the Booker award-winning novel of Yann Martel, which was rewritten by David Magee for the movie, telling as a story about Indian boy survived shipwreck alongside with hyena, orangutan, a wounded zebra and a beautiful White Bengal tiger. Yann Martel have explored and studied lots of facts about an ocean life to give credence to story. That's why, despite the unbelievable storyline, the situations and solutions described in the movie could really take place in real life. The boy named Pi was raised in Indian family owning a zoo. At one day they decided to migrate in Canada with all of their animals and boarded the Japanese freighter. Soon after the leaving India, a shipwreck has killed all the people and animals except for little boy and four animals including furious tiger. All of them take a shelter on one small lifeboat. The boy has managed to survive in this uneasy situation for 227 days. A strong will to overcome the deadly perils, a faith in life and inexhaustible optimism leaded him to long journey adrift by the Pacific Ocean. The journey fortunately ends when their boat reaches the Mexico coast. The tiger (named Richard Parker, by the way) escapes to the nearest jungle, leaving the boy alone. Years after, Japanese Maritime officers interviews Pi in order to investigate the circumstances and consequences of shipwreck. Pi tells him as story about his peregrination, but no one believes him. Pi, feeling the lack of confidence, tells them another version of his wandering, without animals, instead of which a sailor, a cook and his mother act. In this butcherly version a cook kills a sailor and Pi's mother to use them as bait and food. After he tells the second story, Pi asks Japanese officers which of two versions they like most. When he gets the answer, confirming that story with animals is better, Pi says "…and so it goes with God".

"Batman Returns" is a 1992 American superhero film directed by Tim Burton and produced by Denise Di Novi and Burton. It is the second installment in the Warner Bros. Considered to be a "loose cannon" in his field, agent Snow is convicted of conspiracy to commit the crime of espionage even though he did not do the crime, and is offered the opportunity to be freed. This is a man who knows about breaking the rules and now the President's daughter is imprisoned in space, he is the best chance to find her and free her. Seems the prison, which is located deep in space, has been taken over by prisoners and there is a Lock-Out in progress.iolent inmates seem to have the upper edge but Snow is determined to free the young woman and gain his freedom at the same time. Snow is portrayed by Guy Pearce from Rules of Engagement and The Hurt Locker is one mean "good guy" who knows all about breaking the rules. He goes after Emillie Warnock (Maggie Grace from Malice in Wonderland and TV series Lost) who is the captured daughter of the U.S. President. What happens next is violence and mayhem at its best and film maker Luc Besson seems to have successfully graduated from "epic" films to action packed adventure.

Tommy Wirkola's Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters storyline is set the fifteen years after the events described in Brothers' Grimm book "Hansel and Gretel" which was written in 1812. The story of Grimm's characters, two siblings Hansel and Gretel, is well known around the world. Two children were left deep in the forest by their merciless father and stepmother provoked him to do such a horrible thing. After the days of wandering and starving, siblings have encountered a strange house built of gingerbreads, cakes and caramel. Hungry children began to eat the house walls when "very old woman" came out of house and greeted poor children, welcoming them to enter her abode, promising to feed them and give them a rest in soft and clean beds. The reality was that "very old woman" was nothing more than a ordinary witch willing to cook and eat Hansel and Gretel. However, smart siblings recognize her true intentions and happily escape home outwitting the old with by luring her into the oven. Besides this, they have stolen most of her gold, making them and their father incredibly rich (thanks to God their evil stepmother were dead by unknown reason by this time.) Coming back to the movie, after the fifteen years Hansel (Jeremy Renner) and Gretel (Gemma Arterton) became the professional witch hunters equipped by the last word of modern warfare industry of those times: pneumatic shotguns, arbalests etc. The nice pair was hired by the Mayor of Augsburg to track down and slay the most powerful witches of that region. This easy at the first look task, is going to be much more complicated as the local Sheriff, named Berringer (Peter Stormare), steps into this business. The movie is colorful by all the meanings: the horror, action, black humor and awesome witches are united in one watchworthy story – what could be better? As per witches, they are really great. Just imagine Monique Ganderton, Joanna Kulig, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, Zoe Bell as the 3D-enchanced furiously powerful godless creatures and Renner with Arterton exterminating them. Huh?
