KAMU-TV is one of the oldest campus-style USA broadcasting TV stations started its programming in 1970. Now KAMU-TV performs as the part of the "Educational Broadcast Services" of Texas A&M University and airs using the transmitter located near the University Campus. The KAMU-TV's mission is to provide the environment for the students to announce, operate and produce live TV content within the Brazos Valley area mainly in training purposes. In 2004 KAMU-TV has begun HD broadcasting. Now it also operates internet TV channel KAMU-TV live.

UNIACC TV is an Spanish language educational channel of The University of Arts, Sciences and Communication, better known by its acronym UNIACC, a private university in Chile. The channel is dedicated to provide live coverage of students' activities and describe the opportunities proposed by the University. It was the first University of Audiovisual Communication in Chile, founded in 1981. It was also one of the first Chilean Universities featuring the distance education program and eLearning. Today, UNIACC offers various academic programs in this mode through eCampus, which also is known as the Open University of UNIACC. Online University Foundation features various training courses: The Business of Engineering, Psychology, Social Communication, Sociology, Computer Science and Multimedia, Bachelor program in General Education, the Diploma of eLearning Specifications and Standards, etc.

Fifty years ago, Wheaton College began broadcasting on a tiny little radio station that, on a clear night, might stretch its puny little signal all the way across three Northern Illinois counties. Sometimes, the folks all the way over in Mundelein could pick-up the news, sports and weather on WETN. In the 1950's, as Wheaton College built a reputation for championship basketball teams, the 250-watt station built a loyal listenership; and, in 1960, when WETN delivered by far the best local coverage of campaign stops by both John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon, the little station became a landmark on the dial. The community and local cable services continue their whole-hearted support of WETN radio and television. In 1996, WETN expanded into television, sending Comcast cable broadcasts of Wheaton College events twenty-four hours a day. A year later, the student-run station began streaming college events over the worldwide web. If it happens anywhere at or around Wheaton College, WETN broadcasts it; and, if you miss the live broadcast, you can catch it on-demand. Consistent with their long and distinguished traditions, WETN radio, television, and webcast focus on excellence even as they guarantee broadcasting opportunities to all students regardless of their majors. Not surprisingly, the stations have earned all the most prestigious technical, programming, and reporting awards.

The girl you see on USC's Annenberg Television News Network tonight probably will reappear on CNN, Fox News, or one of the major networks about six months from now. Working at and appearing on ATVN, the student-run television station at USC's Annenberg School of Journalism, aspiring journalists hone their skills and develop their clip files, completing their apprenticeships and taking their very last steps before turning pro. In fact, much of ATVN's reporting presents Los Angeles area and southern California news with greater clarity, accuracy, objectivity, and depth than viewers find on the local network affiliates. ATVN airs a half-hour live nightly news broadcast Monday through Thursday evenings. Consistent with the station's educational mission and USC's traditionally high standards, students manage every aspect of preparation, production, and broadcast; and they insist on excellence. The station's website says, modestly, Students learn to make editorial decisions under deadline pressure; to write, shoot and edit; and to use software, cameras and studio equipment found in professional newsrooms. An alumna, now an anchor person at an NBC affiliate, says, I worked at least as hard art ATVN as I do here at Channel 7; and I would not be in the anchor chair today if I hadn't learned to do it on Trojan Vision. In addition to the nightly news, Annenberg students produce Impact, an award-winning long-form news program that airs on Los Angeles Channel 36. Impact and its individual contributors have won several coveted, prestigious awards from The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the people who also present Emmy Awards.

UPV TV channel of Universidad Politecnica de Valencia's. UPV TV maintains a stable program on science, technology, culture, art and training of 24 hours and produce documentaries and audiovisual promotion on the UPV. It organizes courses and workshops for the teaching of students and provides the technical infrastructure and human members of the University Community.

E-Parana (or RTVE: Parana Educativa) is a public Brazilian broadcaster, owned by the state government of Parana, which partially transmits programming of another Brazil television station: TV Cultura. The channel is available online as RTVE Live and via the satellite StarOne C2.
