Emily Owens is "a fresh blood" in Denver Memorial Hospital where she just started to work. To her surprise, everyone in the Hospital is behaving like all the action takes place in a high school. However, our heroine manages to enlist the help of one of her mentors: Dr. Micah Barnes (Michael Rady), who oversees fresh interns and to befriend with first-year surgical resident Tyra Dupre (Kelly McCreary). Besides the awkward moments showcased in almost every scene where we see Emily, there is one only thing that makes everyone uncomfortable to watch Emily Owens M.D. "“ the idea of "what this clumsy young being is doing here, in real-life hospital, as the real-life doctor, who is definitely should be responsible for the lives of patients?" From the other hand, it's just a TV show and all that mess is made by actors by screenplay, and while the last one thing is questionable, first one (the ensemble cast) looks perfect. Main protagonist, Emily Owen, is portrayed by inimitable Mamie Gummer, while her "sweetheart" Dr. Will Collins is played by Justin Hartley (a star of Smallville).

Back for another season due to an explosion of popularity, Tosh.0 will now be seen with 25 episodes although they may be split up over the year. Tosh.0 was recently called the top cable program watched by adults from 18 to 49 years of age with some 2.4 million watching. That's quite a feat indeed for a self created show. Daniel Tosh himself is responsible for creation, production, writing scripts, and presenting the program that basically throws humorous barbs at videos seen on the internet. He wrote the scripts, produces, and stars as himself (sort of) as the show is somewhat autobiographical. Paul (Mad About You, Curb Your Enthusiasm) portrays a former TV star who chooses to return to the small screen after years of staying home and taking it easy while spending "quality" time with his wife and children. With a bit of help from his friends Paul searches for just the right "big thing" that can get his creative juices flowing again. Amy Landecker (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Louie) is Claire, Paul's wife. Friends Jonathan played by Ben Shenkman (Law & Order), Habib played by Omid Djalili (Gladiator, The Mummy), and Fernando portrayed by Duane Martin (Ghost Whisperer, All of Us) help Paul get back into the groove and return to what he loves which is acting and being funny. Paul Reiser is a very funny (not to mention multi-talented) guy!

Standish find a job with a pharmaceutical company but also find it to be far more difficult to be women than they previously thought. It does show that women and men are treated differently in the working world but ratings were a disaster.
