MasterChef Junior is a popular cooking competition show on television. It features young contestants between the ages of 8 and 13 who compete in various culinary challenges. The show was first aired in the United States in 2013 and has since been adapted in several other countries.

Paul Fisher has been a modeling agent since the 1980's and he knows the business inside out. He has witnessed the poor treatment of models and how much trouble most of them have managing their own lives and keeping healthy. Now Fisher plans to bring the many hundreds of smaller modeling agencies across the world together in what he is calling The Network, to help the models help themselves. What happens if you hybridize The Amazing Race and Top Chef? There are two possible answers: "nothing good" and "Around The World in 80 Plates". And you know, both of them are true. But, please, don't get us wrong. It's not just another Bravo's disastrous TV show; it's just a cooking reality show, which is not about the cooking. How is it possible? With ease, here we have to lift the curtain off the series' plot. First of all, you have to imagine three clueless chefs walking down the streets of London, doing the classic "pub crawl" and pretending the "drunk Americans". It's pathetic scene, you know. But who are those unfortunate souls? Meet Keven Lee, or how he calls himself Cheven (mix of Chef and Kevin). He represents one of the endangered species of Hollywood private chefs. The next one is Chazz, his real name Chaz Brown from Voorhees, New Jersey, who is repeatedly semi-shocking us with his British accent, that's why it would be better if he kept silence all the show long. Our list would not be completed if we haven't mentioned the Tex-Mex half-naked chief Sai Pituk from Texas, who surprisingly said the she cooks Asian cuisine only. There are another nine contestants participating, that makes total twelve. The television show is divided into two parts. In the first part all of the participants are performing something like scavenger hunt in the uncommon environment of foreign culinary culture (you have to ideate the picture of dozen Americans wander the rows of Borough market; it's must be funny, isn't it?). In the second part of each episode the contestants have to cook (finally!) the local dishes which their tasted in the first part, and as a bisque, the winning team (those who won the "scavenger hunt") gets one secret ingredient, which will be in great help in the "cooking" part. That is most amusing part of the "Around The World in 80 Plates" because judges are the locals, and you should see their faces when they taste black pudding hash cooked by Americans.

After a hiatus of several years Fear Factor is back bigger and more daring than ever before. Reality shows are so popular today, mainly because they give viewers a glimpse into lives of real people who are living real events most of us seldom encounter (or would ever choose to). With a theme similar to the enormously popular Survivor, Fear Factor makes reality stars out of everyday people who can stand the test of some pretty dangerous stunts and dares when they compete against one another for a monetary reward. The prize of $50,000 is a big incentive and one that makes otherwise sensible folks take risks most of us are barely able to watch! Now there are four teams, each consisting of two people to a team who have been involved in some previous relationship with each other. Not being able to complete a stunt spells elimination and as host Joe Rogan says in a disclaimer "The stunts were supervised and designed by professionals! They're extremely dangerous & shouldn't be attempted by anyone at any time or anywhere!"

Most that have some form of celebrity status are beloved by millions! Take athletes and especially Olympic medal winner, very few do not have enormous fan clubs and generally nothing but praise is bestowed on them. But there are some "stars" whose light shines a little less bright in many people's eyes. Some examples of this type of personality are Jersey Shore's Snooki (Nicole Elizabeth Polizzi). She is just one of those personalities many love to hate! It's just something about their persona or maybe they actually are somewhat despicable. Another example and is also seen on the pilot episode is Kim Kardashian (Keeping Up With The Kardashians). Those who have animosity towards Kim are most likely jealous of her fame and fortune for being a non-celebrity. Mario Lopez (Saved ByThe Bell, Nip/Tuck) hosts and is part of the production crew for H8R which is the texting short-cut for Hater. There could be a long line up of celebrities to appear on the program, it's up to them to come forward and admit they are not exactly beloved by all. Some that have been booked thus far include Eva Longoria, Barry Bonds, and Kat Von D. The producers hope to get many more including Mel Gibson, Joan Rivers, Lady Gaga, and even Sarah Palin.

A new addition to reality television programming is MTV's MADE. It's all about self improvement and the contestants are asking for help to become dancers, singers, athletes, or maybe expert skateboarders. There is a designated Made Coach who will provide the expertise to help them reach their goals within several weeks as their achievements are documented. Be on the lookout for casting calls put out by MTV most any time of the year. Whether it's for MADE or any of the other reality based competition shows put on by MTV you will have just as much a chance as any one else to become part of the show and win. Working your way toward becoming the best cheerleader, wrestler, opera singer, dancer, homecoming queen, or even triathlete you can possible be is only half the fun. These teens will show how competitive and dedicated they can be as they improve their talents each week and come back for more until they accomplish it all.
