"The Banshees of Inisherin" is a 2022 film directed, written, and produced by Martin McDonagh. It tells the story of two lifelong friends, played by Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, who become estranged, causing unexpected and dangerous consequences for both. The movie is set on a fictional remote island off the west coast of Ireland and also stars Kerry Condon and Barry Keoghan. McDonagh previously worked with Farrell and Gleeson in his directorial debut, "In Bruges."

Now we find the American Reunion to be the forth in a successful franchise of movies that revolve around a high school group of friends and lovers. The reunion refers to their 10th high school reunion and for those of us who actually attended our high school reunions it means a time to pleasantly look back and also a time to laugh at some of the results that the ravages of time have bestowed on a few who seemed destined for greatness back ten or twenty years ago. ast Great Falls High School is the scene of the class of 1999's tenth reunion. Of course it will be 2012 before the film shows up in theaters but never mind the time discrepancy because it really doesn't matter much. Each member of this group of young adults now has actual lives, families, and commitments they never thought they'd have when still in school. All of the original cast members have returned including Jason Biggs, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Alyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott, Chris Klein, and Eddie Kaye Thomas. Beatriz at Dinner is a 2017 American comedy-drama film directed by Miguel Arteta and written by Mike White. The movie stars Salma Hayek as Beatriz, a holistic healer and massage therapist who is invited to a wealthy client's dinner party. When Beatriz's car breaks down at the client's house, she is invited to stay for the party, but tensions arise as she clashes with a smug, arrogant businessman played by John Lithgow.

Previously known as Tyler Perry Presents Peeples, this movie represents best practice of the genre. The product of Tyler Perry's genius combined with fresh look of debuting director Tina Gordon Chism worth two hours of your attention for sure. It's not exactly Medea's-like comedy with Tyler Perry dressed as big and monstrous Afro-American woman, Peeples (2013) is more like Our Family Wedding filmed a year ago in 2012. It's funny, spontaneous, lively yet ironic. The action of Peeples revolves around the events at the reunion. A wealthy big family gathers in small town to enjoy each other company. The situation is heating up when Wade Walker, a young infamous "looser", decides to ask a hand of Peeples' lovely daughter Grace' at the pivotal point this rejoicing . This out of the blue surprise causes the effect of chain reaction, which ignites an extraordinary comic turmoil in Hamptons. Nevertheless, Wade Walker has to learn that there are different kinds of Peeples and even the "worst" of them could not be a serious obstacle for true love. Although, Peeples is a directorial debut of Tina Gordon Chism, who was previously known mostly as writer (ATL, Drumline), she managed to gather some brilliant cast: Kerry Washington (Olivia Pope from Scandal, Broomhilda von Schaft from Django Unchained) plays as Grace Peeples, while Craig Robinson (Hot Tub Time Machine, Eastbound & Down) plays as Wade Walker.
