An old tradition, Jumping the Broom refers to a couple who jump over a broomstick at the end of their wedding ceremony to complete their "togetherness". It's a UK and African tradition that was brought back and popularized after airing of the miniseries Roots. But when two totally different socioeconomic families get together for a wedding on Martha's Vineyard the sparks will fly because one side wishes to hang on to traditional values while the other want a more modern ceremony.Starring Angela Bassett (What's Love Got To Do With It?) as mother of the bride, Paula Patton (Precious) is the bride, Laz Alonzo (Avatar, Fast & Furious) is the groom, and Loretta Devine (Grey's Anatomy, Waiting to Exhale) portraying the groom's mother this comedy is well casted and extremely funny. The social differences in the two families brought together by love and marriage cause sparks to fly while seeking to find common ground for the sake of the kids. A great movie that shows blacks can be educated, smart, and classy. A welcome change from the stereotypical type casting of blacks we usually see."

Filmed on 2012 by Anne Fletcher, The Guilt Trip could be an exiting entertaining experience for you, especial if you are a fan of Barbara.

The debut of Jacques Schaeffer, suffers from a strong gender-roll to the left. From the very first minute of every frame of this romantic sci-fi movie it yells: I was filmed by a progressive woman! That, of course, belongs to some resonance with the main message of the picture that advocates quite traditional values like a happy and long marriage.

Atom Egoyan, the director of Chloe is well aware that the strength of any such stories is in the nuances at first hand and "Chloe" is all built on them. It is not important what exactly happens, but how it is reflected on the people. Egoyan clearly shows how the complexes, fears, worries and speculations destroy subjective reality. Main power "Chloe" is in this reticence not even in focus on the main character: the movie switches from one character to another for several times. That is not an accident that the film has a woman's name - the final impression of it is about the same as that from a meeting with a pretty mysterious stranger. Perhaps, as a result it is not turned into something much bigger and important than the conversation of exquisite sexually charged flirtation - but that's a little dangerous feeling of rocking intoxication, mild viciousness and willingness to lose all control is stored, perhaps are even the better things.
