Oddball character Barney is the comic centerpiece of the show. Neil Patrick Harris plays Barney"”need anyone say more? Barney, as fiercely opinionated as he is devoted to designer suits for all occasions, specializes in impromptu development of foolproof schemes for meeting and making conquest of women. "How I Met Your Mother" contributes significantly to CBS's domination of Monday night tube, because approximately twenty million viewers agree with the Yahoo! reviewer who wrote, "Good writing and quirky characters played by likeable actors, this one consistently entertains me. NPH has created a classic character in Barney. And with the fabulous Alyson Hannigan on board *sighs*, I just can't stop watching."

If you have missed a chance to be hooked up with Gilmore Gilrs, the new ABC's dramedy Bunheads is exactly what you need. The first episode of Bunheads has left such a feeling that if there were a little bit more of GG-like moments in Bunheads, the CW lawyers would inevitably file the suit against ABC. And that is not surprisingly taking into consideration the fact that the TV show was created by the same Amy Sherman-Palladino who created splendid Gilmore Gilrs. It is felt throughout the sharp dialogs, giddy repartees, deeply portrayed personalities and perfectly constructed dance scenes. The astonishing dancing ingredient of the Bunheads, is of course not only the personal merit of Sherman-Palladino, but Sutton Foster and Kelly Bishop. Both of them have quite serious dancing background. Another Sutton's and Kelly's merit is drollery atmosphere which these two awesome women create around themselves. Kelly plays Fanny Flowers, a small town dance studio owner, while Sutton portrays Michelle Simms, a cute dancer being caught in the lower point of the career, when series of questionable decisions had led her out of Las Vegas dancing scenes to small rural town Paradise, California where she met Fanny. There are more pry personalities in the series like talented and perfectly shaped Sasha (Julia Goldani Telles) and purposeful Bettina, aka Boo (Kaitlyn Jenkins). All the characters feature inexpressible chemistry between each other, and the spirit of the show is sweet, pleasurable and cuddlesome.

Hollywood Arts is the location for Tori Vega (played by Victoria Justice) as she aspires to be a singer even as she gets herself into a continuous string of screwball or downright silly situations. Tori takes her sister Trina's place in a big showcase put on by the high school called Hollywood Arts because it's a performing arts school. Her talents will be showcased as she learns acting, singing, and even dancing on the stage. Star of the show Victoria Justice is known for her rolls in several recent Nickelodeon features including The Boy Who Cried Werewolf and Zoey 101. Leon Thomas III (Rising Stars, Freak the Freak Out) plays Andre Harris who is a musician singer and songwriter and also is Tori's best friend. Robbie Shapiro is played by Matt Bennett (Michael & Michael Have Issues, iCarly) who is plagued by his own shyness and awkward nerdy ways but is determined to become a master ventriloquist. He often uses that talent to express himself. The youthful cast demonstrates how difficult it can be to fulfill their dreams of becoming successful in whatever type of "the fine arts" they have chosen to follow.
