It all begins when thirteen individual teams consisting of three competitors each race across the deserts and mountains and even through the rivers in Morocco, each with the hope of winning a new Ford Explorer plus $50,000 in U.S. dollars. Mark Burnett of Survivor fame is the producer and a wildlife expert named Dave Salmoni hosts each episode as they go through stages with checkpoints to be reached first. Some of these checkpoints include a challenge that needs to be finished before the teams can move on to the next. The last team to reach the last checkpoint loses and must leave the show. Also if any member on a team decides to give up or quit, the team is eliminated. Trekking through the hot Sahara Desert then over Atlas Mountains of Northern Africa is no easy feat, especially when there so many other dedicated competitors involved. They must show their ability to ride horses, read compasses, rappel the mountains, and right a capsized boat capably and forge on to win the race.

The writers at imdb.com go right to the point: When you tune in to "Spartacus: Blood and Sand," you "Watch the story of history's greatest gladiator unfold with graphic violence and explicit sex." What's not to like? Hunky heart-throb John Hannah plays Gannicus, "original champion of the House of Battiatus," who champions his own lusts and appetites at least as proficiently as he swings his sword. Astute observers might characterize Gannicus as the Brett Favre of the Roman Colliseum. If only texting on stone tablets weren't so clumsy, the messages would be the same. And, for legions of feminist fans who have missed Lucy Lawless's distinctive brand of butt-kicking girl power, her return to the small screen as Lucretia represents living proof there is justice in the world. This time, however, Lawless's character derives her slightly larger-than-life sexiness and skill from exquisite powers of observation and well-timed tugs on "the levers of power." If "The Good Wife" had a Roman prototype, Lucretia was she. According to the "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" web site, "Together, they will stop at nothing to deceive the masses, seize power, and bleed Capua dry."

Would you mind speed-dating in the jungle on self-made rafts sailing down the crocodile-infested river? If you like these adrenaline-stuffed romantic adventures you will probably be hooked by Love in the Wild. However, to say the truth, you will have to sufficiently lower the acceptable level of stupidity, ridiculousness and affectedness. Otherwise you will be a little bit surprised by how this TV show was made. The anticipated symbiosis of The Amazing Race and The Bachelor Pad turned out to be just a bunch of meaningless quests on pseudo-romantic substrate. The only thing that saves this show is the fact that producers seem to be not taking the entire stuff too seriously. For instance, who will take seriously somebody whining about person whining about ants? As for series rules there are lots of advantages to form a loyal couple. Even if you are finishing last, there is a good chance to stay in the game in case if some partners in other couple will broke up and will not find any other contestant to partner with. In this situation they will end up in the Single Area from where they, most likely, will be eliminated. Such breaking ups are happening from time to time just because betrayal could be advantageous too: not because you are falling in love with somebody from the other couple, but on case if last-place couple member will accept a switch request in order to secure staying in the game. In opposite to the actions taking in the show, the rules are only intriguing elements in Love in the Wild. But do not forget the surrounding nature -it's beautiful and, furthermore, it's filmed magnificently. And maybe it's only the advantage saving this dating reality TV show for the next seasons.

The TV show depicts day and night life of fictional character who is billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) at day and redoubtable vigilante "Green Arrow" at night. His story begins five years ago when irresponsible and careless masher, Oliver shipwrecks at inhabited island in the middle of Pacific Ocean. Considered to be dead he was faced lonesome life in dangerous environment for almost five years. The modern day Robinson Crusoe has to develop special abilities to survive the ordeal, the masterly wielding a bow was one of them. As he returns home, Oliver decides to hide his new skills from the entourage, and use them to fight all sorts of villains: corrupted officials, mob leaders, and common bandits. When night comes he puts on his dark green cloak over the perfect body (say hello to "single females" audience), takes his bow and arrows and goes on the streets of Starling City to restore the piece and order. But there is one thing more about Arrow: as Oliver Queen he ultimately wishes to return his ex-girlfriend Dinah Laurel Lance (played by Katie Cassidy: Emma Perkins from Monte Carlo)

"9-1-1: Lone Star" is a television drama series that premiered on Fox in January 2020. The show is a spin-off of the popular series "9-1-1," and it follows a team of firefighters, paramedics, and police officers as they respond to emergency situations in Austin, Texas.

Any officer involved shooting results in plenty of paperwork and some serious investigation before they may decide it was a Justified event. US Marshal Raylan Givens character is based on an intriguing and somewhat old fashioned lawman appearing in some Elmore Leonard stories. The writing is especially good as is the acting and each character in this show is someone to explored further. Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood) is a soft spoken southerner who happens to carry a Marshal's badge and has his own special style of law enforcement. Harlan Kentucky is the setting (although mostly filmed in California) and redneck style justice prevails in this back woods community. Raylan Givens must contend with relatives, ex-wife (Winona played by Natalie Zea from HBO series Hung), and crooked politicians in order to keep the streets of Harlan clean and safe. Even his own father is part of the criminal element found in this small Kentucky town. Seems like Raylan can trust no one but himself. A love interest and some multi-dimensional "bad guy" characters make this program always entertaining and intriguing.
