"The Resident" is a popular American medical drama TV series. It premiered in 2018 and has been running for four seasons. The show follows the personal and professional lives of doctors and nurses working at the fictional Chastain Park Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

Family, peer pressure, school, and romance are a enough to struggle with before adding on the burden and reward of child rearing. The show attempts to show it can be accomplished with help from all relationships involved. The parents can provide much needed guidance and they can get an emotional boost from friends and romantic involvements too. Following four young women who become pregnant during their senior year of school, Janelle, Chelsea, Leah, and Kailyn have different problems and solutions but they are each determined to keep and raise their babies themselves. Boyfriends and parents complicate issues but basically stand behind the life altering decisions made by the new mothers. This program is reality programming at it's finest as it depicts life in real time.

ER is a medical drama TV series that ran on NBC from 1994 to 2009. It was created by Michael Crichton and produced by John Wells. The show follows the daily lives of emergency room doctors and nurses at the fictional County General Hospital in Chicago.

"Pico da Neblina" is a Brazilian TV series that premiered in 2019. The show follows the story of Biriba, a drug dealer who wants to leave the criminal life and start a legitimate business in the marijuana industry. Set in São Paulo, the series explores the challenges faced by Biriba as he navigates through the complex web of drug trafficking and corruption in Brazil.

Those familiar with Law & Order will appreciate the concept of approaching legal cases from more than one perspective. In The Whole Truth we see each case from both the prosecution and the defense angles so have an opportunity to decide whether a defendant is guilty or innocent judging by the evidence presented to us and to a judge and jury. One memorable episode includes the addition of Judd Hirsch (Taxi) to the cast as a beloved judge who has been charged in a murder. Seems he approved a wiretap on a dangerous drug lord before it turned into a far larger problem involving federal charges. Rob Morrow (Numb3rs, Northern Exposure) portrays Jimmy Brogan is the prosecuting attorney for the state of New York (actually the filming was done in Los Angeles, California) and Maura Tierney (ER) is Kathryn Peale a strong advocate of personal and legal rights for her clients. The two attorneys are on opposite sides of the courtroom in each episode and we must decide who we think has the upper edge or who puts on the best case for their clients, then we see the results in the finale.

All Rise is a legal drama television series that premiered in 2019. The show follows the professional and personal lives of judges, prosecutors, and public defenders in Los Angeles as they navigate the justice system. The main character is Lola Carmichael, a newly appointed judge who is determined to bring change to the system.
