Key & Peele is a sketch comedy show that aired on Comedy Central from 2012 to 2015. The show starred Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, who both wrote and performed the sketches. Key & Peele tackled a variety of topics including race, politics, and popular culture.

Previewing "Breaking In" for the press, star Brett Harrison suggested, "If you like "The A-Team", you'll like "Breaking In". If you like "The Office",'you'll like "Breaking In". And if you like breaking-in, you will like "Breaking In!". Harrison's observation proved strangely prophetic in at least two ways: First, the new Fox comedy does combine comic elements from "The Office" with "The A-Team's" dark, sarcastic point of view. Office humor"”there's just no such thing as too much. Second, the weak attempt at humor in Harrison's last line is sadly characteristic of the writing for "Breaking-In." Apparently, the B&E crowd lobbied for its own version of appointment viewing. Who knew? Although it's becoming this season's standard"”bad guys gone good, the premise nevertheless has promise. Five exceptionally skilled and highly specialized burglars team-up to operate Contra Security, a consulting firm that tests companies' security systems by breaking into them. Borrowing liberally from "Leverage" and "Breakout Kings," this wickedly bland team includes a hacker, a bad girl who can pick any lock, a semi-skilled con man, and a mysterious boss. First episode ratings may prophecy the sitcom's fate. Scheduled right after a big-big episode of "American Idol", "Breaking In" carried approximately 19 million viewers into its time-slot; by the end of its half-hour, 12 million of them had tuned-in elsewhere.

Hart of Dixie is considered a comedy drama but it offers much more with the lovely young Rachel Bilson who got to be known (and loved) on the television series The OC back in 2003 as the perky teenage Summer Roberts. She moved on to play in the popular Chuck and How I Met Your Mother for television plus big screen roles in Jumper and The Last Kiss. Hart of Dixie portrays life in the small sleepy southern town that Zoe Hart winds up in after completing all her requirements to become a doctor. She plans on becoming a cardio thoracic surgeon just like her father but wanted that career to be in the big city of New York. She is offered an opportunity to move down to the Gulf Coast town of Bluebell, Alabama and help out with a Dr. Harley Wilkes practice but upon arrival finds her mentor has passed away but, in his will, leaves her one half of his practice. Dr. Brick Breeland is the only other doc in the small community and appears to be jealous of the young MD moving in and being given such a great opportunity. Zoe must find who is for her and who is not and also find how resilient she actually is.

Up Here is a musical romantic comedy show that premiered on Hulu in March 2023. It was developed by Steven Levenson, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Robert Lopez, and Danielle Sanchez-Witzel. The show centers around a group of people in New York City who are searching for love and connection.

Regular viewers of ABC's Wednesday night comedy hit "Cougar Town" will feel their lips curl into wry smiles when they read pre-premiere summaries of the show: The producers and writers originally conceived "Cougar Town" as the life and times of a forty-something divorcee intrepidly devoted to seducing younger men in a small Florida town. The early promos stress the small town's obsession with its high school football team, ironically The Cougars. The football theme arrived still-born, and the entire show might have hit the airwaves DOA except that Courteney Cox and "Scrubs"-creator Bill Lawrence had vision and courage to work a few miracle revisions. The whole "Cougar Town" crew rapidly realized, like Jules surveying a bar-full of mini-skirted matrons, "I know I'm one of them. I just don't feel like one of them." They wisely helped Jules morph into her authentic self. The younger boyfriend disappeared from "Cougar Town" after just a few episodes, and stories coalesced around Cox's character Jules, her teen-aged son Travis, and Jules's extended family"”her neighbours on the cul-de-sac, her co-workers in her real estate office, and her profligate ex-husband. While "Cougar Town" struggled to resolve its identity crisis, Lawrence's innuendo-rich dialogue and Cox's increasingly sophisticated delivery sustained the show. By the end of "Cougar Town's" first season, ratings alone offered ample testimony to "Cougar Town's" radical improvement as it held audiences in the half-hour after "Modern Family"; but the Hollywood Foreign Press sealed the deal, nominating Cox for a 2010 Golden Globe as Best Actress in a Comedy.

"South Side" is a comedy television series that premiered on Comedy Central in July 2019. It was created by the brothers Bashir and Sultan Salahuddin, who also star in the show. The series is set in the South Side of Chicago and follows the lives of two community college graduates and their friends and family as they navigate the challenges of working and living in the city.
