This is the second part of the fun and touching tale about captivated children all around the world. Since the events in the first film was about a hundred years ago, Nanny McPhee appears on the doorstep bewildered young mother Isabelle Greene, who tries to manage the family farm alone, without her husband, who went to war. Nurse learns that the children staged a war against their cousins, who had recently arrived from the city. Nanny McPhee will be using all of its terrible magic (flying bicycle, comes to life statue, elephant, etc.) to teach the kids gone too far, five new lessons…

Jim and Cindy Green discover they cannot have a child of their own and like many other couples, go about finding alternative methods to conceive or at least get their own child. This couple however, decides to go about it a bit unconventionally. They gather up all their wishes including a description of just what they'd love their own child to be like and then put those wishes hopes and dreams in a box and bury it in their backyard. The small box contains details and characteristics, including that the child someday successfully becoming a winner and scores a winning goal. dark and stormy night follows the impromptu burial and the next morning a visitor appears at the Green's front door in the form of a 10 year old boy. Timothy claims the Greens to be his very own family and they soon realize this boy is far more special, downright tailor made for them, than they could have ever imagined. Mom Cindy Green is played by Jennifer Garner (Juno, Elektra), the father Jim Green is played by Joel Edgerton (2011's The Thing, Animal Kingdom), and Timothy Green is played by young CJ Adams (Dan in Real Life). Also appearing are Dianne Wiest, Ron Livingston, M. Emmet Walsh, and David Morse. This is a heartwarming tale in the true Disney tradition!

Ms Elizabeth Halsey (Cameron Diaz) is foul mouthed, greedy, and recently lost her "sugar daddy" so she sets her sights on a colleague at the elementary school where they work. The R rating is well earned for this one as the Bad Teacher in question shows how Bad she can be as she smokes pot, swears a blue streak, and guzzles booze quite effortlessly. Cameron Diaz has plenty of film creds on her resume including There's Something About Mary and My Best Friend's Wedding so she doesn't need this kind of role yet somehow it fits her like a glove and she wears it well. Justin Timberlake (portraying Scott Delacorte) is the fellow teacher she sets her sights on and he is no slouch in the talent department either with six Grammy Awards and a pair of Emmy's on his shelf. There is something about this film that makes it well worth watching and it involves humor and putting those who deserve it in their place. Jake Kasdan directs this summer release which involves jealousy, breast implants, junior high high-jinks, and a rather beautiful teacher who suffers from constant hang-overs.

The film is a mix of black comedy and horror, as it explores the disastrous consequences of mishandling the mogwai, and the ensuing chaos caused by the Gremlins.
