When a group of former high school classmates and friends gather for a reunion they are hit by tragedy. One of them comes to a realization and the group gather then form a pact. The pact is actually one they’ve had before and now plan to resurrect, creating for themselves a new order in their world. This they plan to live, and die, by. A great cast, which is capably directed by Mark Pellington (The Mothman Prophecies, Arlington Road). Thomas Jane (Killshot, The Mist) is Richard, Rob Lowe (Parks and Recreation, Brothers & Sisters) is Jonathan, Laura is played by Carla Gugino (Californication, Entourage), and Randi is played by Arielle Kebbel (Brooklyn to Manhattan, Life Unexpected).
Critics panned this film, calling it over worked and under acted but the cast proves they know exactly what they want and go after it in this fine film. Look for several other cameo rolls with familiar faces who are part of the gathering of former school class mates in their 40’s.
