Zoe Saldana just may be the most likely girl to turn into an assassin or murderer for hire around today. She has starred in some action packed movies recently (Star Trek 2, The Losers, Avatar) and seems more than capable of handling herself in situations many women could not even attempt. But she also had to be saddened by the murder of her parents and make her character sympathetic so the audience can feel her pain and back her decisions. We tend to love a “get even” movie and this one begins with Zoe Saldana’s character witnessing the vicious murders of both her parents in Bogota, Columbia. Years later as an adult she still remembers and plans to seek revenge for her parents death so while she has a day job working for her uncle she is also in training to become a vigilante murderer. Tracking the murderers down, she gets closer and closer until the surprise ending. Directed by Olivier Megaton (Transporter 3) and written by Luc Besson (Arthur 3: The War of the Two Worlds).
